CCT Concrete Control Technician (CCT)

This course is designed to teach the fundamentals of concrete mix design. A CCT is responsible for proportioning concrete mixtures to meet job requirements and for making adjustments to the mix design and mix production as necessary to provide a concrete mixture of the quality required by specifications.
 
The CCT course is sponsored by OCAPA in cooperation with Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT). The course is presented through Blue Mountain Community College and qualifies as a Professional Development course for the engineering field. College Credit and Continuing Education Units are granted upon completion of the course.
 
Those successfully completing the course will receive a certificate and wallet card from OCAPA and ODOT certifying them as a Concrete Control Technician. The certification is good for (3) years.
 
REQUIRED PRIOR KNOWLEDGE:

Students must have successfully completed the ACI and the ODOT Quality Control Technician (QCT) Concrete Field Technician Grade I exams before taking the CCT exam.
 
All students without previous CCT certification: Complete and return the PRE 25 math test (included with study materials). A score of 75% or higher on the pre-exam is recommended to ensure success in the CCT class.
 
This course consisits of 16 hours of review and instruction followed by a 3½ hour open book written exam. This class moves very quickly!!! Extensive study prior to the course is HIGHLY recommended!


Cancellations, Rescheduling & Substitutions

CANCELLATION POLICY: All Cancellations, Reschedules and Substitutions are subject to a $50 processing fee. Cancellations must be made at least 14 days before the start of the class to receive a refund. Material fees are non-refundable.
 
RESCHEDULING: Rescheduling to another class must be made at least 14 days before the start of the class.
 
SUBSTITUTIONS: Substitutions are only allowed between students within the same firm at least 14 days before the start of the class.
 
NO SHOWS: "No-shows" will not be rescheduled or refunded. Classes are subject to cancellation based upon the number of registrants. Registrants will be notified no later than 7 days prior to the start of the class of any cancellations. Prices are subject to change without notice. No credits will be carried over past June 30th of current year. Photo ID will be required for all exams.
